At Parakai Springs Swim School our emphasis right from the start is all about water confidence, once children are happy to be in the water they learn so much faster. We will teach ANYBODY who wants to learn or update their swimming skills.
We believe swimming is an important life skill that all children growing up in New Zealand should learn. It is our Aim to have as many children as possible in our community learn to swim so we strive to offer quality lessons at reasonable prices.
Swimming Lessons
AquaBabyz
- Goldfish (6mths-2.5yrs) 30min class (15 babies max per class with 2 teachers)
- Turtles (2.5yrs-5yrs) 20min class (4 children per class)
Classes are held in indoor pool from 9.15am—10.30am Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri, and 8.30am-10.30am Sat.
AquaKidz
(School aged children.) Classes are 30 min and held in outdoor pool all year round (only cancelled in extreme weather) from 3.30pm-5.30pm Mon - Fri and limited levels on Sat mornings. Max 4 children per beginner’s class / up to 6 for more advanced classes.
Squads
Sessions are held in our Outdoor Pool and are an hour long. Monday, Wednesday 6.30am-7.30am and Tuesday, Thursday afternoons 5.30pm-6.30pm
Holiday Program
- Runs the second week of every school holidays.
- Classes are for school aged children and are 30 min long.
- Children come every day for 5 days between 8.00am—10.30am.
- Max 4 children per beginner’s class / up to 6 for more advanced classes.
Adult Lessons
(Learn to Swim and Technique classes.) These classes run when we have two or more students, we are able to run day and evening classes. Lessons are 40 mins long with max of 6 students.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available by arrangement.
